MOTHERS OF WISDOM
MOTHERS OF COURAGE
MOTHERS OF FAITH

By Lanee’ Daniels

WHO IS SHE?

She is faithfully committed to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Proverbs 2:6 (KJV) 6For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

This mother fears the Lord, reverences the Lord (respect) by applying God's word and establishing a solid foundation in her home.

Luke 6:46 through Luke 6:49 (KJV) 46And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? 47Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will show you to whom he is like: 48He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. 49But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

SHE IS A VISIONARY

She estimates the cost of the job of parenting. Raising children requires courage, commitment, and faith. In the book of 1 Samuel, chapter one, we find Hanna’s courage, commitment and faith as she dedicated Samuel back to the Lord. As mothers we should see the vision of leading our children to Christ no matter what the age of the child/adult.

Romans 5:6 through Romans 5:8 (KJV) 6For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 10:9 through Romans 10:10 (KJV) 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

This mother saw the vision of the gift of eternal life and God’s wonderful plan for their life.

She is a Teacher

She teaches by her example:

  • Does she love the Word?

  • Does she love to pray?

  • Does she love the family of God (other brothers and sisters in Christ)?

  • Does she love unbelievers?

Will you join me in a thanksgiving prayer for these mothers of wisdom, courage and faith?
