Personal Testimony: Banerjee Babu INDIA

Actually my family is Hindu family. My people were idol worshippers and were superstitious. They used to worship a number of gods and goddesses. As I grew up in such a family. I went to Hindu god temples. Every time I visited the temple. I was surprised at the static condition of the idol. Crowds of people attended the
temple on festival days to worship the idols. The priest in the temple used to utter many words which no body understood. What I surprised was why people were
so unconcerned of the dumb condition of the idol. They seemed unworried about the unresponding state of idols. It made me worried a lot. I wanted the God to
speak to people but I did never find the idol talking to any one.
 One day it happened for me to visit a Christian friend of mine. His father was pastor called
Prabhudas on seeing him reading the
Bible. I asked him if God ever talked to him .He said "Yes". It really roused a great curiosity in me .Then I asked pastor
Prabhudas [These all happened in 1991, Prabhudas left this world in 1995.] Why our idols [gods & goddesses] did never talk to us, then he showed me from Psalm
115:4-8. These words impressed me a lot . I felt ashamed of my self for being so innocent.
 I began to read the Bible secretly. I found many answers to my questions. I came to know who the real God is. I read
all " All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. The wages of sin is death . I started attending church along with my Christian friend & his family. I confessed my sins at feet of the Lord. I received
Him [Jesus Christ] as my personal savior. I was baptized {immersion} in name of Father, Son and the Holy spirit. I dedicated my life to serve Him. But there came many troubles. All turned against me. I bare all them silently God. Many came to know the truth. They received Jesus as their personal savior. Lord using me and my family. We both (wife and husband) have been serving the Lord for the last 10 years. Now we are living in Ganguru near Vijayawada city.

 State of Area Youth: Many children are living on streets due to lack of love and food. They are starving. I am inspired to feed them and to show love of god. I did theology from bible. I can teach bible. I am now also calling to teach bible in some colleges as a part time lecturer. So to mean this I can eligible to conduct bible school and to train the youth in bible and to mend them as gems for Christ.

 PRAISE THE LORD. 1993 Aug [that time I am young 25 years] By the grace of God I started ministry with single family the village called Morsumilly. Most of villagers worship Idols and uneducated. We decided to minister among the Hindus areas, rural and unreached areas. Now we established from 1 to 6 congregations also unity with 18 pastors [included 6] By faith and congregations help we are leading these ministry activities. It is not enough to meet all our needs and to develop our ministry work in to unreached areas.
